I hired Terri Weidle to help me with the moves of two of my clients from their homes in independent living into memory care and assisted living respectively.

Terri helped me from start to finish with mapping out the space the clients would be downsizing into, identifying the furniture and decor from the current home that could fit into the space and would be essential to the clients comfort going forward, assisted on moving day to ensure that the movers got everything that was needed and fully designed and decorated the new space. She even went above and beyond and recovered some chairs for one of my clients that needed special attention. Both clients moved in to their new apartments with smiles on their faces and feeling like they were home.

Terri has an excellent eye for what is essential and important in the home and how to make everything fit with style, efficiency and safety. She made both of these moves an excellent and easy experience for my clients and for everybody else involved. I would highly recommend her for any senior moves.

I have been an interior design fabricator for 40 years and worked with many talented designers. Terri is the best of the best with her amazing gifts of interior design.

Her attention to detail, professional knowledge and creative vision set her apart from the rest. She combines creativity, functionality, and your personal taste to create an inspired living space for you.

She is so smart, kind, and honest. She is a delight to work with. Give her a call - you will not be disappointed.

Terri Weidle, with Interiors by Design of Jacksonville, not only designed and beautifully assembled our apartment, as we moved into Vicar’s Landing (retirement community), she actually saved us money on doctors’ bills, among other things (more associated with decorating). I was recovering from surgery and stressed about the move. Terri took over most of the planning and design for our renovated apartment, and relieved the stress. So, no extra trips to the doctors. She handled the organization of our packing, helped us decide what to take, coordinated the actual moving day with the moving company, and did the unpacking at our new location, including the placement of everything there, much better than anticipated. She even hung pictures in appropriate areas, relieving us of that stress.

Along the way of all the planning, she did have suggestions to really save us money, as well as providing us with insight about the new design of our apartment – for example, to prevent headaches of doors opening the wrong way or electrical outlets being in awkward spots or not being where needed.

Our enthusiasm about Terri goes beyond her talent for design. She is very easy-going and pleasant to work with. She has become a good friend to our family, because each person in the family had experience in working with her on moving day, and appreciated her kind interaction and cooperation at this emotional time.

We are very pleased with the results of Terri’s efforts, since we are now living in the new location. I came into the space late on the day of our move, after everything was in place. And was placed beautifully! The refrigerator was filled with goodies from our previous home. Special art pieces were placed in special spaces, some much better in placement than we might have imagined. Our clothes were hanging in appropriate closets, just as we had discussed, and even underwear was packed away in appropriate drawers. The bathrooms were tidy and attractive. We are still so grateful for the care that was taken in setting us in place that fateful day. Terri made an emotional day turn out pleasant and serene.

We are glad to recommend Terri Weidle for others who might be considering a move to a senior community, or to anyone who needs decorating or design help. She is talented and smart, as well as a lovely person.
